Ce coffret de 6 CD constitue la rétrospective définitive de Dick Damron, figure majeure de la country canadienne, souvent surnommé le « Willie Nelson du Canada ». Membre du Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, Damron a marqué plus de six décennies de musique avec un style mêlant rockabilly, honky tonk, country traditionnel et ballades sensibles.

Les trois premiers disques (More Than Countryfied) couvrent les années fondatrices de 1959 à 1976, depuis ses débuts rockabilly avec Gonna Have A Party, en passant par ses enregistrements country traditionnels à Nashville, jusqu'à sa période outlaw des années 1970. Cette partie contient de nombreux titres rares disponibles pour la première fois en CD, dont l’album historique 1867–1967: Canadian Souvenir Album, réalisé pour le centenaire du Canada. On y retrouve les versions originales de ses plus grands titres, comme Hitch Hikin’, Mother Love And Country, The Long Green Line ou encore Countryfied, qui deviendra aussi un tube pour George Hamilton IV.

Les trois derniers CD (Lost In The Music) couvrent sa période RCA entre 1978 et 1989 – la plus fructueuse commercialement. Produites par Joe Bob Barnhill, ces chansons présentent un équilibre parfait entre hard country et ballades mélodiques. Des morceaux comme The Ballad Of T.J.'s, Mid-Nite Flytes, If London Were A Lady, Honky Tonk Angels And Good Ol’ Boys, The Masquerade et The Lady démontrent toute l'étendue de son talent.

Avec ses 86 titres, ce coffret rend un hommage complet et vibrant à l’un des artistes les plus respectés et influents de la country canadienne.
