Bob and Alf were regulars on Ted Ray's 'Ray's A Laugh' radio show and trod the boards of the music halls and theatres between the 1930s and the 1960s. Alf is still active and assisted Chas McDevitt in the preparation of this CD from their original recordings.

Bob and Alf recorded their charming singles for a variety of British labels and the best of these are included, together with their test recording that was the prize when they won the talent contest at the start of their career.
