40 ans dans le monde de la musique en tant qu'auteur, chanteur et animateur, c'est ce que documente et souligne ALBERT HAMMOND pour la première fois avec un CD live. Difficile à croire, mais vrai, c'est le premier album live que sort ALBERT HAMMOND.

Enregistré à Wilhelmshaven lors de la tournée "Songbook" 2013- Songbook est le nom du concept qu'il a créé pour mettre les chansons au centre, ses chansons qu'il a écrites pour d'autres artistes ou qu'il a lui-même fait connaître au monde entier. 30 perles sonores de son vaste catalogue de compositions entre (Folk)Pop, Rock, Country et R'n'B, en partie divisé en décennies : "Freedom Come, Freedom Go" pour les années 60, "Gimme Dat Ding" pour les années 70 ou "One Moment In Time" pour les années 80.

Mais à côté de ces chansons à succès, des chansons moins connues apparaissent également, comme "Smokey Factory Blues", la face B de son premier single à succès ou "Praise The Lord And Pass The Soup", une chanson à orientation country, qui a été créée et enregistrée en coopération avec Jonny Cash.
