Corey Dennison

was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
At the age of 6 years he got his first guitar and was inspired by the blues greats as Albert Collins, Albert King, etc.
For twelve years he has played as a sideman with Carl Weathersby, since 2013 he's on the road with his own band. He released his first CD in 2016 on Delmark Records

Intensiver Chicagoblues

Erster positiver Eindruck: Keine Coverversionen, nur selbstgeschriebene Titel. Eine kleine Band Schlagzeug, Bass, Rhythem Guitarre, Lead Guitarre und Gesang von Corey Dennison.
Die Corey Dennison spielt sehr intensiven Chicagoblues. Sehr intensiv. Starker Gesang von Corey Dennison. Dazu spielt eine sehr gefühlvolle Leadguitarre. Gerry Hundt spielt die Rhytmusguittare unbeirrbar wie Eddie Taylor. Doch nicht diese beiden sind die Stars, sondern die Band, die wunderbar zusammenspielt. Sehr schöne gefühlvolle, intensive Titel. Eine Freude zuzuhören. Für mich eine der schönsten Überraschungen dieses Jahres !
