Ian & The Zodiacs were at the vanguard of the Merseybeat boom of the early 1960s. After appearing on This Is Merseybeat, the band followed the Beatles to the Star Club in Hamburg, where they became one of the most popular acts in Germany. Like those of The Remo Four, Ian & The Zodiacs' Star Club-branded releases were a best-kept secret outside of Germany. Across 1965 and 1966, they recorded four highly collectable albums, the cream of which appears here for the first time on CD in the UK, including desirable Mod-ish 45s 'No Money, No Honey', 'Why Can't It Be Me' and their majestic rendition of the title track, 'Wade in The Water'.
