Their appearance at the Daptone Super Soul Revue at the Apollo Theater in Harlem in December 2015 - far from Como, Mississippi - has finally confirmed their reputation. Immediately after the performance, the Daptone crew brought Ester Mae Wilbourn, Della Daniels and Angelia Taylor to the studio in the House of Soul to record an album. Jimmy Hill, Thomas Brenneck, Homer Steinweiss and Bosco Mann, the formative heads of the Daptone sound, have teamed up for the album 'The Glorifiers Band'. So they have found the perfect background music for these fantastic singers - stirring and full of spirit. The result is some of the most energetic songs Daptone has ever recorded.
